Altar Set-Up

Meditation, Intention, and Candle Holders

Step 1: Preparing Your Altar

Before activating your altar, clear any lingering energy and low vibrations. You can do this by:

• Passing herbal smoke over it, using ethically sourced botanicals such as rosemary, cedar, or lavender.

• Placing it in moonlight or near a clear quartz crystal to absorb purifying energy.

• Wiping it down with a cloth infused with essential oils, such as lavender for peace or frankincense for deep connection. As you cleanse, visualize stagnant energy dissolving, leaving behind a space that is vibrant, receptive, and aligned with your purpose.

Step 2: Setting an Intention

Your altar is designed to hold and amplify energy. Take a moment to define its purpose—will this space be dedicated to meditation, manifestation, protection, or guidance? Once your focus is clear, speak or think your intention. If using the altar for a specific goal, personalize your dedication with words that resonate with you.

Step 3: Activating Your Altar with Candlelight

The embedded crystals in your altar already hold energy, but lighting a candle activates and enhances their resonance. To activate your altar:

• Place a tealight candle in the designated holder at the center of your altar.

• Before lighting it, hold the intention in your mind - whether it is for guidance, peace, clarity, or transformation.

• As you light the candle reclaim your intention.

Step 4: Integrating Your Altar into Daily Practice

• Meditate in front of your altar, using the candle’s flame as a focal point for deep reflection.

• Light a candle when setting new intentions, allowing the flame to symbolize transformation and illumination.

• Use the altar as a space for journaling, affirmations, or quiet moments of gratitude.

• Refresh the altar periodically by replacing the tealight, cleansing the space, or shifting elements to align with new goals or seasonal energies.
